  • Worked in a team that consisted of those transferred from BMC to EMC, 1 Manager & 3 developers in Atlanta plus 4 developers in Houston
  • Attended course on how to program for ECC agents (C++)
  • Modified the agent (C++) to provide skeleton code for new data gathering feature for ECC (top ten files lists reports, top ten largest, top ten oldest, top ten owners, etc…)
  • Modified proprietary XML code to render UI for input dialog in ECC for top ten data gathering
  • Attended course on how to create reports for ECC.
  • Created reports definitions using proprietary XML format.
  • Integrated with other teams in Boston and California.
  • Worked on the "Web Console" product (A client to servlet app using XUL for the UI) to provide paging for large data sets.
  • Used Borland Optimize it to diagnose bottlenecks in the Web console servlet code.
  • Evaluated Documentum (a recent EMC acquisition) for possible integration with the web console.
